We are proud to announce our long awaited, highly immersive and creative photo shoots which we call The Ambrotype Sessions. These photo sessions are an incredibly unique once in a lifetime experience so be sure to book your session today as there are only a limited amount of these photo shoots booked each year with our studio.
‘Ambro’ translates from Ancient Greek as ‘Immortal’, ‘divine’, and ‘of things belonging to the gods’ so the intent of these sessions are to capture the mystical and eternal nature of the subject. The images are captured on glass plates which gives each image a mesmerizing depth. These glass photos are hand poured and developed during the photo shoot, with the images being captured with a camera that dates back to the late 19th century. This is a hyper creative and collaborative journey between the artist and the subject. As an added bonus any photo taken during the shoot can be turned into a large fine art piece for your home.
